Red Dragons Soccer
September 6th, 2006Christian begged all year to do soccer in the Fall. So we signed him up! 🙂 I can’t believe we’re the parents that have all the kids doing so many activities outside of school…Baseball, Music, Gymnastics, Soccer, Chess Club…plus our own stuff like Choir, Bible Study, Recording Projects, Tax Business and full time jobs.
His team this year is the Red Dragons and of course his jersey number is #1!

June 13th, 2006Wow!! Today was the awards day for both Baseball and Chess. This afternoon Christian Won 2nd Place overall for his age class. This was his first year and he really didn’t know how to play when he first joined Chess Club. Both Jesica and I were really surprised!!
The Reds team party was also this evening. Christian had a really great time this year and we want to thank his coaches Shawn, Tom, Bill, Andy and Doug. They ran a great program with the emphasis in good sportsmanship, baseball fundamentals, good attitude and most important having FUN. It was amazing to see some bad attitudes from some of the other teams coaches and players.
It was really touching to see Coach Shawn speak about every kid when they got their trophy. He said that a kid like Christian is the reason he coaches baseball. Christian always had a great attitude, wasn’t intimidated by bigger players by being the youngest and was always smiling whether he was having a good game or not. He also said that Christian was the most improved player of the team! Great job Christian!
2006 Champions!!

The Reds are the 2006 Pacific Little League Farm Champions!! They faced a tough competitor in the Diamond Backs. Christian continued his clutch hitting in the playoffs with 3 hits and drove in the first 2 runs.
Final Score: Reds 17 – Diamond Backs 15
Reds Win Game 4
June 9th, 2006Tonight the Reds played against the Cardinals. The Reds looked tentative in the 1st inning with the Cardinals up 6 – 2 at the top of the 2nd. It looked like that Reds were going to loose their first playoff game. But at the bottom of the 2nd, Zach, Dillion and Christian loaded the bases and Reds offense started to click.
The Reds roared through the 5th with 17 runs to 7. The Cardinals came back in the top of the 6th with 6 runs.
After the 2nd inning with a couple lost plays in right field, Christian had an awesome game. He went 3 for 3 and had a force out at 3rd to close out the top of the 3rd inning. Tomorrow is the Championship game at Noon on field 3.
Final Score: Red 17 – Cardinals 13
Big Red Machine
June 4th, 2006 
The Big Red Machine wins again!! They faced the Cubs this evening. Christian was 2 for 3 and drove in 1 run.
Final Score: Reds 18 – Cubs 3
The Reds next game is on Friday, June 9th at 5 PM vs Cardinals.
Monkey off the Reds back!
May 31st, 2006The Reds have beaten the only team to beat them this season, the Royals. Christian had a sacrifice hit and had great fan support from his friends Katie, Ashley and Charlie! Thanks for coming out Eric and Margaret! After the game the team sang Christain Happy Birthday!
Final score: Reds 14 – Royals 7
Their next game will be against the winner of the Mariners/Cubs match on Saturday. Reds game time 6 PM Sunday, June 4th. See you there!!

Reds Win Game One!!

The Reds are 1-0 in the 2006 playoff race. It was a close one, Reds 17 – Diamond Backs 14. Christian had 3 clutch hits and drove in a couple runs. 3 for 3 for the night. He also lost his first tooth in the last inning.
The next game is a tough one against the Royals tomorrow Wednesday, May 31st at 7 PM on Field 3. See you there.
