Preschool Grad

Congratulations to Brandon for completing preschool! He’s grown a lot through the experience. He’s made friends who are not Christian’s friends, can write his own name and is becoming more confident in himself. It’s really great to see him come out of his shell!
Can’t believe he’s going into Kindergarten this year and he will be playing Soccer in the Fall. Great job Brandon!

Brandon’s School Field Trip

Brandon and I got to go to the Woodland Park Zoo for his preschool field trip. We had fun looking at all the animals and be with his classmates.
Brandon’s favorite part was getting to see the Giraffes and having a Popsicle treat with Dad.
Christian’s Birthday and Playoff Game 1
Friday, June 1st, 2007
The Dodger’s win game 1 of the playoffs. It was a little tense being the first game of all the tournament games. The other team didn’t get the correct pitching machine out and caused a 15 minute delay. The coaches were calling the littlest things like all coaches needing baseball hats.
Christian was apparently nervous having a cheering section at his game for his birthday. He didn’t really have a good game and struck out his first two at bats. Which is very unusual for him. But he made up for it on the 3rd time to the play and hit the ball hard into deep center field.
Our friends the Stueckle’s, the Kraakmo’s, Laura Prewitt and our family including my mom, Grandma Julie, Uncle Andrew, Brenda and Uncle Ed all came cheer Christian on.
The Dodgers came to the game to play and did so by hitting the ball hard and scoring 10 runs to none in the first 2 innings. The defense was pretty good too. Our next game is Monday, June 4th at 5 pm.
After the game the team got to sing Happy Birthday to Christian!! Most of our friends and family from the game came to our house and had cake and ice cream. Christian got to show off his new bike that he got to choose at the store and he got to open some other presents.
Final score: Dodgers 16 – Pirates 5
