Remembering Nana

Nana

Yesterday, Jesica’s Nana passed away. This is an old photo taken in 2002 with a not so happy baby Brandon.

May it comfort friends and family that we are thinking and remembering you in our prayers.

Those We Love Remain Part of Us

Our loved ones leave the world, but never our hearts.

You will always remember. You will always love. So much has changed, but so much will always be…

Your loved one is part of who you are, of how you see the world…of how you live and give. Those priceless gifts are yours forever.

Race for the Cure 2006

Christian and Jesica are participating in the 2007 Susan G. Komen 5K Race for the Cure in Seattle. Both did the race last year with Christian’s Grandmother Julie and had a blast doing it.

The Komen Race for the Cure helps raise awareness of the importance of a positive breast health program – annual mammography beginning at age 40, clinical breast exams at least every three years beginning at age 20 and annually at age 40, and monthly breast self-examinations for all women beginning by age 20.

Monday, January 15th, 2007

Ok, This is a little late, but it’s pretty funny. Brandon was a sheep in his pre-school Christmas Program in December. He got a little stuck in counting.

2nd Place Chess Champ!!

Tuesday, June 13th, 2006

Wow!! Today was the awards day for both Baseball and Chess. This afternoon Christian Won 2nd Place overall for his age class. This was his first year and he really didn’t know how to play when he first joined Chess Club. Both Jesica and I were really surprised!!

The Reds team party was also this evening. Christian had a really great time this year and we want to thank his coaches Shawn, Tom, Bill, Andy and Doug. They ran a great program with the emphasis in good sportsmanship, baseball fundamentals, good attitude and most important having FUN. It was amazing to see some bad attitudes from some of the other teams coaches and players.

It was really touching to see Coach Shawn speak about every kid when they got their trophy. He said that a kid like Christian is the reason he coaches baseball. Christian always had a great attitude, wasn’t intimidated by bigger players by being the youngest and was always smiling whether he was having a good game or not. He also said that Christian was the most improved player of the team! Great job Christian!

Christian’s Big Day!

Tuesday, May 30th, 2006

Christian had a busy day. He had an ASB meeting in the morning and chess club after school.

His last Kindermusik class was at 4 PM and 1st Baseball Playoff game of the season. He went 3 for 3 and drove in a couple runs. He also lost his first tooth in the last inning.

Playset!!

Tuesday, May 30th, 2006

After 3 days of straight rain, we finally built the backyard playset we’d been promising for the kids with my brothers Andrew and Edward’s help. It only took about 6 hours to build…the product sheet said about 3 hours.

The kids have been having fun since we completed it!!
